About Skaha Labs

Founded in 2014, Skaha aims to make measuring soil moisture a lot more practical, especially for those who depend on the success of their irrigation strategy.

We aim to transform how irrigation is managed by eliminating the need for in-situ soil moisture probes. Our technology was developed based on input from farmers and scientists; through many years of field testing in North America and Europe.

Skaha has grown from a garage-based operation, fueled by the desire of the founder to apply radio astronomy technology to earthbound problems. We are a lean and bootstrapped Canadian start-up, and our R&D has been supported through federal and provincial funding programs.

Skaha Labs is a trademark of Skaha Remote Sensing Ltd.
